King Oyster Mushrooms

King Oyster Mushrooms look like this if you haven't seen them before. It's not your typical mushroom. I have never seen them in my regular supermarket. I have to go to an Asian market instead.

Combing mushrooms

To make mushrooms look like pulled pork... well, you have to comb them. Take a fork in one hand and hold a mushroom with another hand or another fork. If you are afraid of accidentally hurting yourself, then I'd say pin the mushroom with another fork and comb it. All you have to do is move your fork up and down until the mushroom looks like spaghetti.

Lay out mushrooms on the parchment paper on the baking tray. Add garlic, paprika, Sambal Oelek sauce, olive oil, and salt to the mushrooms. Mix it. Pre-heat your oven to 350F and bake the mix for 15 minutes.

Take the tray out of the oven, place mushrooms on the frying pan and add BBQ sauce. Fry it all together for 15 minutes.

I fried my buns on the same frying pan where I made the mushroom pulled "pork" spreading some mayo on them. You can put whatever you like on your sandwich. I put some onion rings and lettuce leaf on top. And here you go! An absolutely delicious sandwich.
